Best Korean food in Toronto. So great having Yummy BBQ again, loved eating here (at their old location on Bloor and Bathurst) and it's been a few years since we came back. Love the spicy chicken stir-fry and spicy BBQ ribs. Great service, BIG portion. Great prices compared to similar restaurants.

Hidden away is this gem. The food was pretty good and huge portions. I got the spicy galbi, it came with rice and some sides! Would recommend

One of the GOATs in terms of taste, portion size, and value. Ordered the spicy BBQ short ribs plate which came to 27. That seems like a lot, but I assure you that it will easily feed 2 people... maybe an entire family for that matter. They LOAD it with meat, provide two small bowls worth of rice, and the usual Korean side dishes. My girlfriend and I couldn't even finish it, so there were leftovers. Any food court with a Korean store is almost guaranteed to be a hit and hidden gem, so please give them a try!

I was so happy when I was saw Yummy BBQ on google maps cause oh boy do I have good memories of this restaurant when they had a location in Mississauga and Downtown! This was my go to Korean restaurant when I was in school. I was so sad when they closed down those locations, but Im happy that they opened up another location! Tastes exactly as I remember it. Their yummy special is a must buy. You get 3 different kinds of meats and lots of get side dishes like the fried dumplings and egg battered zucchini. Everything was super delicious and portion size is super generous.

This take out place is hidden in a food court. The yummy special is the best deal. At 36 dollars you get three types of meat (beef, short ribs and chicken) and lots of side dishes and rice. The portion is well enough for two people. The meat is grilled well and has the charcoal flavour. I believe the meat is supposed to be non spicy but somehow I got the spicy one first time I ordered. I’d choose the spicy one over the non spicy. The meat is just more juicy and tender. What surprises me the most is the egg battered zucchini. It’s light on the taste and not oily. A perfect side dish to pair with the spicy meat. For the kimchi, it’s not that great and I think it’s store bought. I also ordered the seafood pancake at a different time and it was not great. Too much batter, too starchy, and I can’t taste/find any seafood. The place is run by a Korean couple and I noticed that lots of Koreans going there and buying their foods. It must say something about the authenticity. Highly recommend the Yummy Special (ask for spicy). Cant say too much about other items on the menu as I haven’t tried them yet.

We needed to grab a quick meal and didn't realize this business was in a food court and we almost left. Don't come if you're expecting nice ambiance or table service. But if you're smart you'll stay and enjoy and amazing home style Korean food. The prices are comparable to restaurant prices so again, we were a little hesitant.. When we got our food however, we were pleasantly surprised by how generous the portions were. Definitely more generous than many of the Korean places we've been to. In the pics I tried to capture the size of the containers of just the banchan alone - the height of them. You definitely don't get as much anywhere else. The japchae was filled.. Actually every container was filled as you can see. Flavour was on point. 100% will be back when I get another hankering for Korean food because I know I'll get my money's worth.

I’ve been working in the Don Mills area for almost 15 years, but I had no idea this hidden gem existed! I ordered the BBQ short ribs and was surprised by the generous portions and taste. Everything, including the side dishes, was absolutely delicious!

Dinosaur size portion sizes and delicious bbq! My wife and I had the yummy special (36.00), more than enough food to feed 2 people. I know other reviewers had concerns about the service and honestly had no problems ordering food from the older gentleman. Would I order again? Yes! Big portion size and delicious food! Will order again!
